I am choosing to study the statistics behind animal welfare in Singapore, welfare meaning the health and lifestyle of animals. It is well known that animals are often homeless, left to die, not properly taken care of often tortured in the most horrible ways, but it is unfortunately uncommon knowledge of how extensive the number of animals in these situations can reach. We focus so strongly on the animals in these scenarios, that we never stop to look at the humans involved, and thats what I came here to do, not only to spread awareness on this topic, but look into the different points of view, and understand the relationship between mistreated animals, and humans, whether involved or uninvolved.
